Zechariah Comfort Dog

LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs are friends who bring a calming influence, allowing people to open up. Comfort Dogs are available to visit your church or group.

1 John 5:14–15 "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him." Zechariah is a trained LCC K-9 Comfort Dog at First Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Las Vegas, Nevada. He serves every day in the community in which he is placed and is deployed in times of disaster and crisis to bring comfort to all those affected, including first responders and the volunteers who serve them. Zechariah is a friend who brings a calming influence and allows people to open up their hearts and receive help for what is affecting them. Birthdate is March 26, 2023.

Lois & I along with survivors and Las Vegas area community leaders were at the official groundbreaking ceremony for the Forever One Memorial on Friday, October 2, 2026, honoring the victims of the October 1, 2017, mass shooting in Las Vegas. Even now people still talk about, remember, and remain thankful for the teams of LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs that responded after the Route 91 Harvest Festival Shooting. Pray for the survivors who continue to grieve for the loss of their loved ones. Pray for the first responders who will never forget.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Father who is full of mercy, the God of all comfort. He comforts us every time we have trouble so that when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us.

Here is a Promise from God

But the people who trust the Lord will become strong again.
They will be able to rise up as an eagle in the sky.
They will run without needing rest.
They will walk without becoming tired.

The Lord God is like a sun
and a shield for his people.
He is kind to his people
and he gives glory to them.
To those who do what is right,
he gives every good thing that they need.

Here I am at an Amazon visit. Be sure to pray regularly, not just for Amazon employees, but for all people who are involved in the transportation of goods in our country and the world. This is an "unseen" work that is vital to millions (if not billions) of people who rely on the various transportation networks and facilities to supply their everyday needs.

Trust in the Lord completely. Do not think that you understand things well enough for yourself. Whatever you are doing, remember that the Lord is with you. Then he will show you the right way to go.
~Proverbs 3:5-6

Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?” Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

My Amazon visit this week was filled with love and pets. These are some hard working people and Team Zechariah is in the right place at the right time. Pray for all the workers involved in the handling and transportation of the goods that we enjoy in this country.

Jesus answered, “The work God wants you to do is this: to believe in the one he sent.”

I visited Oakmont senior living with assisted living and memory care services. I get lots of love when I visit. Pray for the residents as they go about their daily lives, that they would know God's love.

Be happy because of the hope you have. Be patient when you have troubles. Pray all the time.
