⛪ What makes a good church according to the Bible?

Grace Community Church missionary **Frank Benoit** teaches from 1 Corinthians about the biblical marks of a good church: a Christ-centered focus, complete unity, servant leadership, and faithful stewardship.

A good church remembers God’s faithfulness, remains in fellowship with Jesus Christ, and stays united around the same biblical doctrine, vision, and mission—the advancement of the gospel.

Frank reminds us that church leaders are called to be servants, not celebrities or stars of the ministry. God gives different responsibilities to different people, but every leader is a fellow worker serving in God’s field.

Paul planted. Apollos watered. But God caused the growth.

No pastor, teacher, missionary, or ministry leader deserves the glory that belongs to Jesus Christ.

👣 How can you stay close to Jesus when your faith is tested?

In this message from Mark 14:12–72, Pastor Jimmy Sandoval examines the Last Supper, Jesus praying in Gethsemane, Judas’s betrayal, the arrest and trial of Jesus, and Peter’s denial of Christ.

🍞 At the Last Supper, Jesus established the new covenant through His body and blood. His death, burial, and resurrection are not simply familiar parts of Christianity—they are the foundation of the gospel and the only way our sins can be forgiven.

🙏 In Gethsemane, Jesus prayed, “Not what I will, but what You will.” Salvation does not depend upon our religious efforts or the promises we make to God. It rests entirely upon what Jesus Christ accomplished for us.

🔥 Peter confidently promised that he would never abandon Jesus. But when trouble came, he followed the Lord at a distance, surrounded himself with people who opposed Christ, and ultimately denied knowing Him three times.

Jimmy’s warning is direct: following Jesus at a distance produces a distant relationship with Him and can eventually lead to denying Him.

**Stay close to Jesus—as close as you can.**

God knows our weaknesses, failures, and sinful nature completely. We cannot save or transform ourselves. We are sinners in need of the Savior, called to repent, receive His forgiveness, and surrender our lives to Him.

“Stop trying to do what you can’t do for yourself. Stop promising. Just surrender already.”

💰 What caused Judas to betray Jesus—and what does his life reveal about the love of money?

In this message from Mark 14:1–11, Pastor Jimmy Sandoval examines Jesus, Judas, and the dangerous power money can hold over the human heart. The message contrasts Judas’s secret betrayal with Mary’s wholehearted devotion to Christ.

🌿 Mary poured an extremely valuable perfume upon Jesus in a personal act of worship. Although others criticized her offering as wasteful, Jesus defended her and declared that she had done a beautiful thing for Him.

🪙 Judas had personally witnessed the miracles and teaching of Jesus. Yet his focus on money, resentment toward correction, and unwillingness to surrender his heart led him away from Christ. He instead joined those who wanted Jesus dead and agreed to betray Him for thirty pieces of silver.

Judas provides a sobering warning. When God’s Word confronts our sin, we can respond with humility and repentance—or resist His correction and allow another influence to direct our lives.

Jesus taught that no one can serve both God and money. Wealth itself is not the issue. The real question is what occupies first place in our hearts.

Mary remained at the feet of Jesus and poured out what she had upon Him. Judas chose money, resentment, and betrayal.

⚠️ **Don’t be a Judas. Be a Mary.**

Are you spiritually awake and ready for the return of Jesus Christ?

Continuing through Mark 13:28–37, Pastor Jimmy Sandoval examines Jesus’ lesson from the fig tree, the signs of the end times, the permanence of God’s Word, and Christ’s repeated command to watch, remain alert, and be ready.

Jesus did not reveal these things to frighten His people, but to prepare us. Although one generation will experience the final events Jesus described, no person knows the day or hour. The exact timing remains with the Father alone.

Rather than attempting to predict Christ’s return or forcing current events into Bible prophecy, believers are called to know God’s Word, listen to the Holy Spirit, stand firm in the faith, pray, and faithfully complete the work God has assigned to them.

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.”

Everything around us may change, but God’s Word remains eternal and unshakable. Whether Jesus returns during our lifetime or many years from now, His command remains the same:

**Stay awake. Be on guard. Watch and be ready.**

What is the New Covenant—and why can’t religious law make us right with God?

In this standalone Communion Sunday message, Pastor Jimmy Sandoval explains the eternal New Covenant established through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Teaching from Hebrews 8 and Hebrews 10, Pastor Jimmy shows that Jesus offered Himself once for all. His sacrifice cannot be repeated, improved upon, or earned through religious effort. Our forgiveness rests entirely upon what Christ accomplished on the cross.

The law reveals our sin and failure, but grace calls sinners to Jesus. Through Him, everyone who believes receives forgiveness and justification that the Law of Moses could never provide.

Grace is not permission to live however we want. Grace and truth transform us, lead us to confess our sins, and teach us to depend upon Christ instead of ourselves.

“Trust in what Jesus did for you instead of what you can do for yourself.”

You do not have to continue living under guilt and shame. Come to Jesus and receive the complete forgiveness He purchased for you.

When does the rapture happen—and what did Jesus say His return would look like?

In this message from Mark 13:14–27, Pastor Jimmy Sandoval examines the Great Tribulation, false christs, false prophets, cosmic signs, and the visible return of Jesus Christ in great power and glory.

What is the “abomination of desolation” Jesus warned about in Mark 13:14?

In this message, Pastor Jimmy Sandoval examines Mark, Daniel, 2 Thessalonians, and Revelation to explain what Scripture reveals about the coming Antichrist. The Bible describes him as the little horn, the willful king, the man of lawlessness, the lawless one, and the beast.

What did Jesus mean when He warned of deception, wars, famines, earthquakes, persecution, and “the beginning of birth pains”?

Teaching from Mark 13:1–13, Pastor Jimmy Sandoval connects Jesus’ warnings with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and the opening seals described in Revelation 6.

Where do life, liberty, truth, and human value ultimately come from?

In this special message, Pastor Jimmy Sandoval examines the biblical foundation behind the Declaration of Independence and its statement that certain truths are “self-evident.”

Life does not come from government. Human institutions do not determine our ultimate worth. Scripture teaches that God created humanity in His image, gives every person life and breath, and reveals truth through creation and through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Pastor Jimmy explains that truth can be known, God can be known, and every person has intrinsic value before Him. Jesus came into the world to bear witness to the truth, and everyone who receives Him can become part of the family of God.

As America marks 250 years, this message calls us to remember that our freedoms, blessings, gifts, and very lives come from our Creator. It is also a call to give ourselves fully to the Lord and receive the forgiveness, mercy, guidance, and eternal life found in Jesus Christ.
