Quaker Voluntary Service is a fellowship program for young adults. We are an 11-month fellowship program for young adults 21-30.

If you are interested in living in intentional community with others, exploring your spiritual life and the Quaker faith tradition, and serving in a full time position in a nonprofit, this program might be for you!

Greg kicked off his trip to Western Massachusetts with a visit to Hampshire College and Kate McConnell, Director of SPARC. Sadly, Hampshire College will be closing in December. Greg met with some students who were interested in the QVS Fellowship program and got to hear the “ringing of the bell” a tradition for Hampshire graduates. Next stop Holyoke College and UMass, Amherst!

Greg wrapped up his Florida trip in Miami on Sunday. He attended worship with Miami Friends Meeting and then headed across town to worship with Friends at the Iglesia De Los Amigos. QVS looks forward to exploring and expanding connections with Florida Friends! And, Greg and his sister, Judy, enjoyed celebrating the 80th birthday of their mom, Pat. Happy Birthday, Mom!

Greg kicked off his trip to Florida with a visit to Tampa Friends Meeting on Wednesday night. The rainy night was warmed by soup and discussions about experiences of service and the lessons learned from those experiences. Greg shared a bit about how the 29 new Fellows are doing and some ideas for new programming. Thank you Elizabeth, Chris, Dustin and Tampa Friends!

Next stop, Miami!
