DAILY DEVOTIONAL: THE RESURRECTION PROVES GOD HAS THE FINAL WORD

📖 Matthew 28:6 (KJV)
“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said.”

Peter stood boldly because he had witnessed resurrection power. He saw Jesus die, be buried, and rise again. Because of that, Peter learned that when God speaks, even death cannot have the final word.

The resurrection reminds us that fear, opposition, setbacks, and even death are no match for God’s power. If God can raise Jesus from the grave, He can restore what is broken, revive what seems lifeless, and open doors that appear permanently shut.

Today, settle it in your heart: My mind is already made up. I will trust God, obey God, and follow God wherever He leads.

🎯 Challenge: Identify one area where God has already spoken to you. Stop delaying, stop debating, and take one step of obedience today. Trust that God’s authority and wisdom for your life are greater than any competing voice.

🙏 Prayer: Father, help me trust Your authority and wisdom for my life. Strengthen me to obey You faithfully, knowing that You always have the final word. Amen.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL: PLEASING GOD OVER PLEASING PEOPLE

Galatians 1:10 (KJV)
“For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.”

Devotional: Peter discovered a life-changing truth: you cannot fully obey God while trying to satisfy everyone else.

The moment Peter settled that his loyalty belonged to Christ, people's opinions lost their power over him.

Some will misunderstand you. Some will disagree with you. But obedience becomes easier when the issue of allegiance is settled.

When God speaks, obedience is no longer a debate. It becomes a decision.

The safest place in the world isn’t public approval. The safest place is in the will of God.

Reflection: Are you seeking people’s approval more than God’s direction?

Prayer: Father, free me from the need for human approval. Help me value Your smile more than human applause, and give me the courage to obey You completely. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
