East Valley Pentecostal Church

East Valley Pentecostal Church East Valley Pentecostal Church is pastored by Pastor Rodney Nielsen and his wife, Sis Jenale Nielsen. We believe in Divine healing.

East Valley is built upon faithful obedience to Biblical principles. We have discovered that true success can only be built upon the Word of God! (Joshua 1:8; Psalms 1:1-3) We practice to become a 21st Century, Apostolic Church. We aspire to be the nineteenth chapter of the book of Acts, where God’s power continues to work freely among us today. We are founded, first and foremost, upon the belief

that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God from beginning to end, and that there are no private interpretations. God’s word is clearly for everyone who will receive its teachings. We believe in the Great Commission seek to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy, and compassion. (Ephesians 4:14-16)

We believe there is only one God Deuteronomy 6:4. He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit). (John 1:1-14)

We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38; Acts 19:3-5). We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives the ability. (Acts 2:4)
We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He ministers to His people through tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy; words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, healing and helps (Mark 16:15-18; Acts 5:16; 2 Corinthians 12:1-11). James 5:14-15 presents God’s plan for divine healing: “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.” Laying on of hands and anointing with oil usually accompany prayer for healing, in accordance with God’s Word and to focus faith. Through God’s power, Stephen, Peter (Acts 9:36-42), Paul (Acts 19:11-12), and Phillip (Acts 6:8; 8:7) performed many miracles of healing. Acts 5:16 states, “There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.”

If you have further questions about what we believe, please feel free to call or email us to make an appointment with one of our pastors, who will be happy to share the word of God with you more thoroughly.

One last Midweek Service in the chapel before renovations begin!

For so many of us, this chapel holds years of precious memories, prayers prayed, worship lifted, lives changed, and unforgettable moments in the presence of God. Many have received the Holy Ghost and been baptized within these walls.

Tomorrow night will be our final opportunity to gather in the chapel before its familiar look begins to change, and we would love for you to be part of this special evening with us.
