Yesterday we heard of the sudden passing of Rev. Jackie Marrero. She was a pastor and an anointed woman. We send our condolences to her husband, her two children and the congregation which she pastored, Iglesia de Dios Palabra de Vida in Tacoma, Washington. We pray for peace and comfort to fill each heart during this difficult time.
“But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

Ayer nos enteramos del repentino fallecimiento de la Reverenda Jackie Marrero. Era pastora y mujer ungida. Enviamos nuestras condolencias a su esposo, sus dos hijos y la congregación que pastoreó, Iglesia de Dios Palabra de Vida en Tacoma, Washington. Oramos por la paz y el consuelo para llenar cada corazón durante este momento difícil.
"Pero no quiero que sean ignorantes, hermanos, con respecto a los que se han quedado dormidos, para que no se aflijan como otros que no tienen esperanza. Porque si creemos que Jesús murió y resucitó, así Dios traerá consigo a los que duermen en Jesús. Por esto te decimos por la palabra del Señor, que nosotros que estamos vivos y permanecemos hasta la venida del Señor, de ninguna manera precederemos a los que están dormidos. Porque el Señor mismo descenderá del cielo con un grito, con la voz de un arcángel y con la trompeta de Dios. Y los mu***os en Cristo se levantarán primero. Entonces nosotros, los que estamos vivos y permanecemos, seremos atrapados juntos con ellos en las nubes para encontrarnos con el Señor en el aire. Y así siempre estaremos con el Señor. Por lo tanto, consuélense unos a otros con estas palabras".
