Our Military Veterans for Christ Annual Breakfast Fundraiser is coming up on Saturday, September 19, and I’m asking for your support.

This is currently our only scheduled fundraiser for the year, and the money we raise helps cover the costs of our annual veterans retreat coming up in November, along with the ministry and activities we provide throughout the year.

Tickets are $10 per plate, and while we will sell tickets at the door, buying your tickets in advance really helps us plan and make sure we have enough food for everyone.

We’ll also have a Silent Auction and door prizes throughout the morning, so come have breakfast, spend some time with us, and support our mission of serving veterans through faith, fellowship, and service.

Saturday, September 19 | 8:00–10:30 AM
St. John the Evangelist Parish Hall
4603 St. John’s Way, San Antonio, TX 78212

For advance tickets, call or text me at 210-273-5976 or scan the QR code on the flyer.

Even if you can’t attend, sharing this post helps us get the word out. Thank you for continuing to support Military Veterans for Christ and the veterans we serve.

Today’s Gospel, Matthew 18:15-20, is a good reminder of how we should treat each other, especially when there is disagreement or conflict.

Jesus tells us to go directly to one another. Not talk behind someone’s back, hold a grudge, or immediately give up on them.

As veterans, we understand loyalty and having each other’s six. Our faith calls us to do the same. Sometimes that means having a difficult conversation, forgiving someone, or simply putting our pride aside.

The verse that stood out to me today:

“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

We have to keep showing up, praying together, and trying to follow Christ a little better each day.

National Purple Heart Day 🇺🇸💜

Today we honor the brave men and women who were wounded or made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our nation. The Purple Heart is a reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and selfless love shown by those who answered the call to serve.
