Ash Wednesday service with the imposition of ashes and holy communion will be held this Wednesday, February 18 at 7:00 p.m.

We hope you will join us to mark the beginning of Lent, a 40-day period from Ash Wednesday to Holy Saturday, excluding Sundays, mirroring Jesus' fasting in the wilderness.

We hope to see you TODAY at 4:00pm, as we celebrate the Second Sunday of Advent with Choral Vespers & Eucharist. A wine and cheese reception will follow in the courtyard.

This beautiful liturgy takes place as dusk begins to fall, and we illumine the church by lighting candles to symbolize the coming of Christ, who scatters the darkness of the world. We give thanks for the day just past and make an evening sacrifice of praise to God (Psalm 141:1). By sanctifying different parts of the day to God, in this case, evening, the Church fulfills Jesus' command to "pray always" (Luke 18:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:17).
