This Memorial Day weekend, we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. 🇺🇸

As flags line the grounds of Stone Oak Church, may they serve as a visible reminder of sacrifice, courage, and the cost of freedom.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

May we never forget.

Sometimes God’s presence shows up in ways we don’t immediately recognize. He is working even in the unexpected moments of life.

Take a few minutes this week to be encouraged and reminded that God is near.

Read this week’s devotional here:

Over three hundred times, Scripture quietly pulls back the curtain on a world we cannot see, yet one that is constantly at work around us. Psalm 34:7 assures us, "the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and delivers them." That word "encamps" paints a picture of p

Sometimes the walls in front of us feel impossible to overcome; fear, doubt, worry, or circumstances beyond our control. This week’s devotional reminds us that God is still able to bring walls down in His perfect timing and power.

No obstacle is too great for Him. ❤️

Read this week’s devotional:

For Israel, who had been gently led through the wilderness by God’s faithful hand, Jericho now stood as their first great challenge in the land He had promised. Its towering walls must have seemed impossible to overcome. Yet God did not tell them to attack with swords or strength. Instead, He aske...

On Sunday our kiddos read Acts 8:26–40 and learned how Philip listened to God and bravely shared His love with others. We challenged the kids to be brave like Philip this week; to listen, obey, and show kindness wherever God leads them.

The memory verse this month is:
“Let us not become weary of doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” Galatians 6:9

Join us Sundays at 10:30 am! All are welcome!

Take a moment today to rest in the reminder that no matter what we face, we are never outside of God’s care. 💙

This week’s devotional, “Safe Within His Care,” is a beautiful encouragement to trust Him even in uncertain seasons.

Read it here:

2 Samuel 22:31, “As for God, His way is perfect: the word of the Lord is proven; He is a buckler to all those who trust in Him.” The image of a buckler may seem unfamiliar today, yet it carries a powerful truth. Unlike a large shield, a buckler was a small shield, portable, and used in close com...
