He Is Risen! A Joyful Easter Sunday at Divine Redeemer Presbyterian Church!

Today our church family gathered in celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the hope that anchors our faith and the promise that renews our spirits. Easter reminds us that God’s love is stronger than death, and that new life is always breaking through.

This morning was made even more special as we welcomed two new members into our congregation. We give thanks for their faith, their gifts, and the blessing they already are to our church community. May God guide them as they continue their journey of discipleship among us.

What a beautiful day of worship, renewal, and community.

What a full and joyful Sunday at Divine Redeemer Presbyterian Church!

Our service was filled with gratitude, celebration, and the blessing of seeing our community come alive in so many ways.

Today we celebrated Scout Sunday and we were honored to have our worship service led by the boys of Scout Troop 52. They welcomed members and guests, read Scripture, collected the offering, and participated in every part of our worship with confidence and grace. We were especially grateful to see so many of their parents joining us in the pews.

We also celebrated the installation of a new Session member, as well as thanking an outgoing Session member. We gave thanks for their willingness to serve and for the gifts they brought or will bring to the life of our church.

To close this meaningful service, we gathered at the Lord’s Table and shared in Holy Communion, led by Rev. Kelsey Penn. The bread and wine are always a reminder of God’s grace that sustains and unites us.

We give thanks for a Sunday filled with faith, service, and community. May God continue to guide and bless our congregation as we grow together.

Cold and icy weather are expected this weekend. At this time the Spanish Sunday School class has been cancelled for Sunday. While our 10:30 service is still planned, we ask everyone to check the road conditions along your drive before you decide whether to attend church on Sunday.

While we would love to have everyone at church, your safety is more important. If there is a change in weather conditions, we will send out notice as soon as possible.

A Blessed Day at Divine Redeemer Presbyterian Church

Today we celebrated a sacred and joyful moment in the life of our congregation as we installed our newest Session members. We give thanks to God for calling these faithful servants to leadership, and we are deeply grateful for the time, gifts, and hearts they bring to our church family.

As part of the service, our elders gathered around them, laying hands in prayer, asking for wisdom, strength, and the guiding presence of the Holy Spirit as they step into this ministry. It was a powerful reminder that we lead together, support one another, and trust God to equip those whom God calls.

Please join us in welcoming and praying for our newly installed elders. May their service be a blessing to our congregation, and may God continue to work through them for the good of our community and the glory of Christ.

Thanks be to God for these leaders and for the bright future ahead.

Merry Christmas from Divine Redeemer!

On this holy Christmas night, we rejoice in the gift of our Savior and the joy of community. May the light of Christ fill your hearts with peace, hope, and love today and always.

We invite you to celebrate with us through this special moment from our Christmas Eve service. This is our choir lifting their voices in “This Holy Christmas Night.”

From our church family to yours:
Merry Christmas and blessings for the New Year.

Today we honored Día de los Mu***os with music, memory, and love.

Our praise and worship band, Holy Gente, performed “Remember Me” as we reflected on the beloved souls who have gone before us.

Though they are no longer with us, their light continues to shine in our hearts.

Nunca olvidados. Always remembered.

🎶 “Here I stand in this hour, I need your strength, I need your power…” 🙏

As our hearts grieve with the families of Central Texas —especially for the precious children lost in the floods — our choir lifted this song as a prayer. A cry for peace, for healing, and for the strength only God can give.

May this offering bring comfort to those hurting and remind us all that even in sorrow, we are not alone.

💧 “Send your love to set me free, send your blood to cover me.”

Another original song this Sunday morning from our Holy Gente. Rosana does an amazing job writing songs for us. This is Celebrate the Lord! Hope you enjoy it!

What a beautiful Sunday for a service! Thank you Rev. Debbie Parsons for leading us in worship today. We always love when you come back to our pulpit. It was also a blessing to hear Holy Gente play Rosanna's new original song, La Invitación. Praise the Lord for all the wonderful blessings!
