⏳ Are We Truly Living in the Last Days? ⏳
Even 2,000 years ago, the authors of Scripture were already saying they were living in the “last days.” And they were right.

So what makes the “last days” last so long?
📖 Hebrews explains that the last days began when God completed His revelation through His Son and His redemptive plan was fully revealed. Once there were no more prophetic “mile markers” left before the end of the age, humanity entered the final era of history.

Before Christ came, there were still promises yet to be fulfilled. The Messiah had to appear. God still had more to reveal. But after Christ came, died, rose again, and the full revelation of Scripture was given, the world entered the final stage of God’s redemptive timeline.

And today?
We are even further into the last days than the writers of the New Testament were.

Now believers eagerly look toward the next major event on God’s prophetic calendar:
✨ The return of Christ for His Church. ✨
📖 “You too, be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.” — James 5:8

🌎 Spanish Translation Team Testimony 🌎
A few years ago, Maria discovered VBVMI on Instagram while searching for expository Bible teaching to share with her friends and family in Colombia. What seemed like a simple discovery quickly became a beautiful example of God’s providence.

📖 How Did You Come to Know God? 📖
We recently found a throwback with an incredible testimony from our very own Pastor Stephen Armstrong.

Stephen came to know Jesus later in life, in his mid-thirties, while sitting under a pastor who was teaching verse-by-verse through the book of Genesis. Its never too late to become a Bible teacher!

When the pastor reached the story of Noah, something powerful happened—God used that moment to ignite a fire in Stephen’s heart. That spark eventually led to the birth of Verse By Verse Ministry International.

It’s a reminder that God uses His Word in amazing and unexpected ways to draw people to Himself.

❓ Was Mary Sinless?❓
The Bible teaches that only one human has ever lived without sin — Jesus Christ.
📖 Romans 3:23
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

The word “all” includes every person who has ever lived. That means Mary, though highly honored and chosen by God to bear the Messiah, was still a sinner in need of a Savior like the rest of us.

Mary herself says this clearly:
📖 Luke 1:47
“My spirit rejoices in God my Savior.”

Mary was a faithful servant of the Lord, but she was not sinless, divine, or an object of prayer.

Some religions, particularly Catholicism, elevate Mary to a place Scripture never gives her—teaching doctrines such as her sinlessness and encouraging prayer directed to her for guidance, healing, or intercession. The Bible does not support these practices.
Scripture consistently directs believers to one mediator and one Savior alone:
📖 1 Timothy 2:5
“For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.”

Jesus alone is perfect, sinless, and worthy of our worship. Mary was blessed among women—but Christ alone is Lord.

📖 What Does Discipleship Look Like? 📖
As believers, we often feel the tension between knowing the Word of God and living it out. One of the clearest ways God calls us to live out our faith is through discipleship.

Discipleship begins close to home:
• 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Teaching and guiding our families
• 🤝 Encouraging and strengthening other believers
• 🌍 Sharing the Gospel with those who do not yet know Christ

This is part of the believer’s growth in sanctification—moving from spiritual infancy toward spiritual maturity as we walk with Christ.

In the VBVMI teaching series, Practical Discipleship, we explore this calling in depth, helping establish a framework for how Christians are to live out their faith with reverence and obedience, while actively discipling others along the way.

Through the teaching sessions, we dive into:
• 📖 Biblical discipleship
• 🌱 The process of sanctification
