When life throws you lemons add water and sugar and make Lemonade.
In life there “will” be lemons. And this shouldn’t take us by surprise.
Jesus said it in John 16:33
In this world you will have trouble but take heart! I have overcome the world.
Hard, unexpected and bitter things will happen.
But lets not stay with lemons and become a lemon face, if you wallow in the bitter sour things in life you will let your experience bitter you.
Let’s make Lemonade!
As believers we have every ingredient accessible to us. We just have to put the Word to practice.
Lets add the Living water to these lemons.
John 4:14
Whoever drinks the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.
This water has an endless satisfaction and its an inner source! We have the Holy Spirit to help us! Nothing dissipates the sourness of a lemon than adding water.
My Jesus He be making lemonade!🙌🏽
And nothing makes something so bitter so sweet like the sweetness of God’s Word.
How sweet are your Words to my taste sweeter than honey to my mouth. Psalms 119:103
Oh taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the man who trusts in Him. Psalms 34:8
So when those lemons come, trust in Jesus and sip on a tall glass of cold sweet lemonade! 💛
