Power hasn't yet been restored, so this is the plan for today, August 30:
- No Ministry Fair
- No services in the sanctuary
- No nursery or childcare offerings
- No livestream
- One celebration of Holy Communion at 10am on the South Lawn. It will be casual and informal. Join us if you'd like!

We continue to pray for all those affected by the storm. We know of several parishioners who sustained property damage, and many are also still without power. We give thanks for the crews who are working hard to restore power to the community.

Much of the church campus has been without power since Friday night's storm. We won't be having Rally Day and the Ministry Fair on Sunday -- later we'll see about maybe rescheduling.

If we have power restored by 7am Sunday morning, we'll plan on our regular service schedule.

If we still don't have power, we won't have any services in the sanctuary. Instead, we'll plan on one celebration of Holy Communion at 10am on the South Lawn.

If there's no power, we won't be able to offer nursery services, and of course we won't be able to have a livestream.

We're sorry for the inconvenience! Look for an update Sunday around 7am.

Yesterday, we celebrated the start of a new school year with our Backpack Blessing during both the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. services! 🎒

Our children and teachers received a special blessing and prayer for the year ahead, and after the services, families had a chance to capture the moment with back-to-school photos in front of our colorful sign and balloon arch. Kids also got to choose a special backpack tag to take home! 📚🎈

A big thank-you to Bonnie Grubbs, our Director of Children’s Ministry, for putting together such a joyful celebration and helping our St. Luke’s children begin the school year feeling loved, supported, and blessed. 💙

Wishing all of our students, teachers, and school staff a wonderful year ahead! 🍎📓

Join us this Sunday, August 16, at both 9:00 am & 11:00 am services
ALL students and teachers are invited to bring their backpacks or work bags to church. We will say a special blessing and prayer for a safe and wonderful new school year. Don’t forget to stop by during our 10:00 am Formation Hour for a special Back-to-School photo! We’ll have a festive backdrop set up where students, teachers, and families can take a photo with their backpacks and celebrate the start of a new school year together.

We hope you’ll join us as we bless and celebrate the students, teachers, and families in our St. Luke’s community!
