45 YEARS OF GOD’S FAITHFULNESS!

In 1981, George Knight began the Gospel Mission as a simple soup kitchen with a heart to serve those who were hungry. What began with a meal has grown into
the Salina Rescue Mission, sheltering an average of 81 men each night, providing over 76K meals each year, and providing hope, help, and the love of Christ to
men in our community.

These aren't just numbers, they represent lives that are being transformed through shelter, support, work, discipleship, and the hope found in Jesus Christ. But the numbers only tell part of the story.

For 45 years, God has opened doors, provided resources, brought faithful ministry partners alongside us, and allowed us to be His hands and feet to those in
need. We are celebrating not simply 45 years of ministry, but 45 years of God’s goodness and faithfulness.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” — Psalm 136:1
Thank you to everyone who has prayed, served, given, volunteered, and walked alongside The Salina Rescue Mission through the years.

To God be the glory for 45 years—and for all that He will continue to do!
