VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We give thanks to God that power is almost fully restored. But there are a lot of people who still need food.

The YMCA's Grab n’ Go program continues today at Church of the Cross (1600 Rush Street) from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. You can volunteer at any time for however long you can.

Update: We will celebrate Marilyn's life on Monday, June 15, at 11 a.m. at United Methodist Church of the Cross (1600 Rush Street). A lunch will follow. 🌷



With hope in resurrection, we announce the passing of member Marilyn Sue Rundberg. We will celebrate her life on Tuesday, June 9 at 11 a.m. at United Methodist Church of the Cross (1600 Rush Street). A lunch will follow. 🌷

In her honor, attendees are asked to wear KU Jaywalks, KC Royals, or KC Chiefs attire. Memorial gifts can be made to Interim Healthcare of Salina, or United Methodist Church of the Cross.

Do you have storm damage on private property and need help moving limbs or downed trees?

Saline County Emergency Management is coordinating volunteer chainsaw crews to assist residents. Crews can cut and move limbs or downed trees to the curb for limb pickup.

To request assistance, call Saline County Emergency Management at 785.833.7597 or 785.833.7593.

Please note: Chainsaw crews are volunteers, and assistance will be provided as crews are available.

The Saline County Health Department, located at 125 W. Elm St., has opened its lobby to the public as a cooling shelter and a place to charge medical devices. The lobby will remain open until 7 p.m. today. For questions, residents can call 785.826.6600.
