Barb will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Prayers for the family.

Barbara “Barb” Lynn (Carroll) Evans, 75, of Salem, Missouri, entered eternal rest Saturday, May 30, 2026, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Salem First Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Salem First Baptist Church. Burial to follow in the High Gate Baptist Church Cemetery, St. James, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Mortuary in Salem, Missouri.

Barb is survived by her loving husband of fifty years: Dan Evans of Salem, MO; children: Daniel Coulter and wife Jennifer of Salem, MO, Terri Walter and husband John of Cedar Hill, MO, Sarah Welch and husband Jay of Salem, MO, and Tom Evans of Salem, MO; brother: Robert Carroll of Hillsboro, MO; grandchildren: Joshua Coulter, Rylee Coulter, Alicia Coulter, Grace Welch, Trystan Welch and wife Amanda, J.J. Welch, Kyrsten Evans, and Nathan Evans; great-grandchildren: Kane and Violet; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents: Robert and Helen (Schumacker) Carroll; sisters: Gloria, Sue, Cathy, and Debbie; and great-granddaughter: Anastasia.

Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Barb Evans to the Salem First Baptist Church and left with Wilson Mortuary. Memorial Envelopes will be available.

BABY DEDICATION - This year Baby Dedication will be held on Father's Day Sunday. If you have not dedicated your child, and would like to be included, please notify the church office or Paula.

BABY BOTTLES TO SUPPORT Riverway Pregnancy Center - Bottles will be sent home Sunday for you to fill with you gift and the bottles will be collected on Father's Day. There is also a QR code on the HUB if you would like to give that way.

KIDZ SUMMER CALENDARS ARE AVAILABLE - Kidz Summer calendars will be available on the HUB for you. Please take one and mark your calendars, so your child doesn't miss any summer activities.

LOVE THY NEIGHBOR - LTN is June 7 - 11. If you are planning to volunteer, please pick up a volunteer application from the Welcome Desk or scan the QR code in this week's bulletin. Applications need turned in ASAP!

BUSINESS MEETING - The quarterly business meeting will be June 14 at 6:00 p.m.

June 13th - Strawberry Festival at FBC - Arnold. June 18th - Luncheon and Program - Current River Bluegrass.

There is a bin by the Welcome Center/Choir room steps that the BASIC'S are using to collect supplies needed by the Missouri Baptist Children's home. There is a list of needed items attached.

CAMP CLEAN-UP - We will be headed out to clean camp on Wednesday, May 20th. We will meet at church at 1:00 and should return around 4:00. Everyone is welcome to join us !

Please pray for #1 - the committee members as they seek and wait on the Lord in their search for the Pastor that He has selected. #2 - our future Pastor and His family as God prepares to move them to FBC.
