The rhythms of the Christian calendar help shape and deepen our faith. The Book of Common Prayer highlights many feasts that enrich our understanding of Jesus. This year, all are invited to observe the Lesser Feasts of Our Lord with a Eucharist, Rev. Wendy Watson presiding, on these Holy Days.

The next lesser feasts are:
September 14 @ 12pm — Feast of the Holy Cross
September 29 @ 12pm — Feast of St Michael and All Angels

Children’s Ministry | Abundant Life! Programming will be offered again on Sunday, Aug 30 for children, ages 3-10, during the 9 am service, in the nursery. Let Sarah know if your child would like to be there! It really helps to be able to plan for children of multiple ages. See you there!

Youth Ministry | We will have YOUTH-charist at 11:30 am this Sunday in the church sanctuary. People of all ages are most welcome!

Bring the Work of Your Hands on Labor Day Sunday September 6th!

On Labor Day Sunday, we’ll give thanks for the many ways God calls us to serve and create through our work. We invite you to bring an implement, tool, or symbol of your work or ministry to place before the altar during worship. We’ll bless these objects as part of our prayers for all who labor. What might you bring? A stethoscope, gardening gloves, paintbrush, laptop, notebook, chef’s apron, measuring tape, musical instrument, camera, work badge, tool, pen, or even a child’s favorite school supply, anything that represents the work you do or the ministry you offer in the world. Whether your work is paid or unpaid, public or private, professional or volunteer, we hope you’ll bring something that reminds us that all of our work can be an offering to God.
