The registration is now open for our 2nd Annual FCA Legacy Challenge at The Ledges on Sat, Sept 26.

Each player of the first 10 foursomes to register will each receive a $75 gift card to The Ledges Pro Shop.

We had a great time at our 2nd annual FCA AWANA Pinewood Derby today with two youth and one adult sharing their testimony and how FCA has positively impacted each of them. A special thanks to Southland Bible for hosting the derby and Joel and Rhonda of Maximum Velocity who made the derby possible. So fun to see the youth and their families having so much fun together.

3 years old to 2nd grade
3rd grade to 6th grade
7th grade to 12th grade

"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" - Psalm 46:10

Even the strongest teams need a halftime break.

Halftime isn’t weakness — it’s wisdom. It’s where players catch their breath, refocus, hydrate, and get ready for the second half. Without it, exhaustion takes over.

Life works the same way.

God invites us into intentional pauses. “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10, CSB). Stillness isn’t quitting; it’s trusting. It’s stopping the striving long enough to remember who’s in control.

Psalm 143:6 adds another picture — reaching out with a thirsty soul. God doesn’t just allow rest; He offers refreshment. Selah reminds us to stop, look, and listen — to recalibrate our hearts before heading back into the game.

If you’re worn down or overwhelmed, maybe it’s time for a spiritual halftime. Sit. Breathe. Listen. Then step back into life renewed and ready.

Our second FCA Men’s Coach’s Bible Study in St. George is launching tonight and will continue meeting the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays monthly at The Facility.

Our other FCA anen’d Coach’s Bible Study is meeting the 2nd & 4th Mondays monthly at The Facility at 7 am.
