Reflection on the Second Principle “Justice, equity, and compassion in human relations points us toward something beyond inherent worth and dignity. It points us to the larger community. It gets at collective responsibility. It reminds us that treating people as human beings is not simply something we do one-on-one, but something that has systemic implications and can infuse our entire cultural way of being. “Compassion is something that we can easily act on individually. We can demonstrate openness, give people
respect, and treat people with kindness on our own. But we need one another to achieve equity and justice. “Justice, equity, and compassion are all part of the same package. Just as the second Principle overlaps with the first, so it is related to the seventh Principle—the interdependent web of all existence.”

Just to let you know, On Google Maps, some how our new address slipped back to the Room at the Squair location. It has been adjusted back to Grace Episcopal Church Building, 1072 East 900 South, St. George, UT. For those of you who tried to attend with us but couldn't find us, thank you so much for bringing it to our attention. I hope you will try to join with us again. Exciting News for Families at UUFSU! 🎉

Starting June 8th, UUFSU is thrilled to offer childcare for children up to 10 years old during our services on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month!

This means parents can now fully engage in the services—reflect, connect, and participate without distractions—while knowing their little ones are in a safe and nurturing environment.

Older children are encouraged to join our adult programs, where they can grow, learn, and be part of our wonderful community.

We can't wait to welcome your family to this exciting new chapter at UUFSU! See you soon!

Just a reminder, Meeting location and time will change soon. Starting in January 2025 the new meeting location will be: GRACE EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 1072 East 900 South in St. George, UT starting at 1:00 PM and going to 2:30 PM.
