God's answer to fear is often this: "I am with you."

Gideon had questions. Why has this happened? Where are the miracles? Has God abandoned us? God didn't answer every question the way Gideon wanted. Instead, He gave him something greater: His presence.

The promise that gives us courage isn't that life will always be easy. The promise is that we will not face it alone.

Write it down. Put it somewhere you can see it: I am with you.

Tonight at Celebrate Recovery, Mike H continues sharing his story. Free dinner at 6PM, worship and testimony at 7PM.

Gideon was hiding. God called him mighty.

When God met Gideon, he wasn’t standing on a battlefield looking brave, he was hiding. But God didn’t define him by the fear he was feeling in that moment, He spoke to who Gideon was becoming.

That’s grace. And it’s a story we get to see lived out tomorrow night, Mike H is sharing his testimony at Celebrate Recovery. Like Gideon, Mike’s story didn’t start looking brave, it started in hiding. But God doesn’t leave us there.

“Mighty hero, the Lord is with you!” - Judges 6:12

Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is taking the next faithful step because God is with you.

This week, we’re leaning into a simple truth: because God is with me, I can take the next faithful step even when I am afraid. Courage doesn’t mean fear is gone. It means fear doesn’t get to lead.

So today, start here. Name the fear. What are you facing? A hard conversation? A diagnosis? Rejection? Failure? The unknown? A step of obedience?

Bring that fear honestly before God. You don’t have to pretend it isn’t real. But remember this: fear may be real, but it is not Lord. Jesus is.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” - 2 Timothy 1:7

Tomorrow we start something new: Brave Enough.

Four weeks exploring what it means to live boldly for God, not because we’re fearless, but because we know who goes before us.

Week 1: “Courage Isn’t the Absence of Fear.” Every person God ever called in Scripture was afraid. Courage isn’t pretending fear doesn’t exist, it’s moving forward anyway because of who God is.

If fear’s been holding you back from something God’s calling you to, tomorrow is for you.

10AM, 4430 US-1 S, St. Augustine. Come as you are.

What is keeping you from true freedom? This week we ended our surrender series, exploring how our quarrels, envy, and wrong motives keep us locked in chains of our own making. The good news? You have the keys.

We sang about it before we even heard it preached, that no matter what storm we’re walking through, we are safe in His arms. That’s what surrender actually feels like. Not losing control, but finally resting in the arms of the One who was holding it all along.

God promises victory to those who dwell under His shelter (Psalm 91:13). When we humble ourselves and resist the devil, He lifts us up.

As the message reminded us: the measure of a person’s power is the measure of their surrender. Stop protecting yourself and let Him protect you. You are safe in His arms. Your future awaits on the other side.

Watch the full message and come join us. You are welcome here.

We hold the keys to our own liberation when we stop envying others and recognize the unique, irreplaceable value God has placed in each of us. That truth from Sunday doesn’t stay inside these walls, it walks straight out into how we treat the people the world walks past.

Tonight is Dining With Dignity, and it’s not a program. It’s the chance to look someone in the eyes who’s used to being looked through, and remind them they are seen, valued, and loved.

If surrender means dying to self, tonight is what that looks like with feet on it. Come serve. Come pray. Come be reminded that dignity isn’t something we hand out, it’s something we recognize was already there.

Tonight, 5:30 PM, 92 S Dixie Hwy.

What is keeping you from true freedom? This Sunday's message, "Finally Free: On the Other Side of Surrender," brought us face to face with the things we hold onto — the pride, the envy, the desire for approval — and challenged us to feel the burn when we put on the bracelets of the world.

Drawing from James 4:1-10, we were reminded that quarrels, envy, and wrong motives keep us from receiving what God has for us. But when we humble ourselves before him, he lifts us up. God opposes the proud but favors the humble — and his mercies are new every morning.

The level of a man's power is the measure of his surrender. The more we empty ourselves, the more he can fill us with peace, wisdom, and endurance. Your future awaits. Come as you are, leave transformed.

Watch the full message and join us this Sunday.
