May your heart be warmed and your life enriched by what you can see and read . We hope that you get the chance to come to visit our church. Many people come at 10:00 am for our Christian Education classes (which we call Sabbath School) There are classes for all ages and they last about an hour. at 11:00 am we begin our worship service. At our worship service, you will see a lot of variety. There i

s a variety of music, ages, dress (some are fairly casual, some show up in suits), and worship experience. One thing we hope is constant that you encounter Jesus.

What if the biggest question you are facing is not what you believe, but how you live when you have the upper hand? This week, Pastor Jeff opened Genesis 1:26-28 and asked two simple but profound questions: Who are we, and what are we supposed to do?

The answer from the very beginning is stunning. We were not created from conflict. We were created from community, in the image of a God who has always existed in relationship. Science is now catching up to what Scripture has said all along: connection is not optional. It is the very thing we were made for.

When Jesus describes the final judgment, the metric is not doctrine or achievement. It is how we treated the vulnerable when we had the power to do otherwise. Be like the knight, not the dragon.

Join us this Sabbath as we keep digging into what it means to be truly human, created in the image of a God who gave everything to bring us back into connection with him.

What if the very beginning of everything points directly to you? In his first sermon at Carmichael SDA Church, Pastor Jeff Carlson took us back to Genesis 1 -- not just as a creation account, but as a personal declaration: in the beginning, God. And that changes everything.

We all know what it feels like when life unravels into formlessness, void, and darkness. But the same God who hovered over that ancient abyss hovers over yours. He is not threatened by your mess. He speaks light into it.

As Ecclesiastes 3:11 reminds us, God has placed eternity in our hearts -- which is why we ache for more, why death feels wrong, why we long for a home we have never visited. You are homesick for a place you were made for, and the God who made it is coming back to bring you there. You are safe and loved. Turn the lights on. Let God's light shine on and through you!
