🐯🏈 VICTORY FOR THE G-MEN! 🖤💛
Mount Harmony Missionary Baptist Church celebrates the Grambling State University G-Men on their victory over Clark Atlanta! 🙌🏾
Earlier this month, during Church with the Tigers, we had the privilege of welcoming the GSU football family into worship. We received an encouraging Word from Rev. Lance Wright and heard inspiring updates from Head Coach Mickey Joseph, QB Coach Bruce Eugene, and GSU President Dr. Martin Lemelle Jr.
But this season also brought a special WELCOME HOME to two members of the GSU coaching staff—Coach Bruce Eugene and Coach Jimmy Zachary. 🖤💛
Years ago, Bruce and Jimmy walked through the doors of Mount Harmony as young GSU student-athletes. They worshipped with us, prayed with us, and were part of a generation of Tigers that our church family loved and supported.
Now, they’ve come home.
This time, they return as coaches, mentors, and leaders, pouring into young men who are standing where they once stood—navigating college, football, faith, responsibility, and the journey into manhood.
That’s legacy. That’s discipleship. That’s what it means to pour back into the places and people that once poured into you.
We are thrilled to see these young men return as coaches and help shape the next generation of G-Men. And just as we prayed for them when they were student-athletes, MHBC is still praying—now for them, the young men entrusted to their leadership, Coach Joseph and the entire GSU football family.
