Last month, we shared a video about Patelynn Carlisle and the monthly Bible study she hosts for her friends in her home.

Fellow church members Jimmy and Sandee Sledge were so encouraged and moved by the video and the faith of these young girls that they asked if they could stop by the next gathering and bring a gift for each attendee. Every girl received a “Next Right Thing” mug (created by fellow church member Natalie Richardson) and a handwritten note of encouragement. 🤍

Jimmy shared, “The video made us want to join the group - ha! We were so encouraged by these girls.”

What a beautiful picture of different generations encouraging one another and celebrating God’s work in the lives of these young girls. We are grateful for the way our church family continues to invest in and support one another.

Interested in becoming a foster parent, but not sure where to start? Foster Parent Orientation is a great first step. This meeting is simply an opportunity to learn more about the foster care system, the certification process, and what life as a foster parent can look like - no commitment required.

Even if fostering is not something you’re considering personally, this is still a valuable chance to learn how to better support and serve foster families in our community.
For those who decide to continue with training, attending this orientation will count toward the required orientation credit for licensure.

Childcare is available for those who register using the QR code or email [email protected]. 🤍

As we prepare for the fall, we know we’ll need new Groups and new Group Leaders! We are anticipating a need for college groups, young adult groups, and multi-generational groups.

We’d love for you to attend our upcoming Group Leader trainings on June 14, June 28, and July 12. These will most likely be during the second service, but more information will be shared soon. *Attending the trainings dos not commit you to leading a Group.
