As we start our summer break from BSF, we don't want to break our time in God's Word! As you set up your own summer rhythms of fellowship and study, here's a helpful resource!

The 3 Rs is an easy and familiar rhythm for reading any of God's Word. Not sure what to read? Check out our summer reading option - Grace for Exiles: The Gospel According to Luke.

Jesus is the fulfillment of the promises God made or foreshadowed during Israel’s time of exile and return. Some of these fulfillments are partial until Jesus’ second coming, but God’s grace has come to His people - the exiles, the outcasts, the weary, the lost - in Jesus. 💙 And Luke records all of this like no other!

It's a great way to build on our study of Exile and Return while looking forward to our fall study of Romans: From Guilt to Grace.

HE IS HOLY: God is high and lifted up. He is set apart from His creation. Our English word “holy” is from the same root word as “whole.” God is whole—perfect in goodness and righteousness. No one is like God. Even God’s holy angels tremble in reverent worship before Him. God sets apart His children for Himself and commands us to be holy as He is holy. Being holy makes you whole—what God intended you to be.

Ezra’s Choir (12:31-37) – Ezra led one large, music-bathed group that began southwest of Jerusalem and moved counterclockwise around the city.
Nehemiah’s Choir (12:38-39) – Nehemiah led the second procession, which started northward and went clockwise around the wall.
The two groups flowing in opposite directions both proceeded toward the temple as their ultimate destination. Worship enveloped God’s Holy City.
