What does it take to change the World?

From Acts 2:1-8, Joseph described three things of the Holy Spirit that we must pursue if we want to see movement of the Spirit like in the story of Pentecost.
1. It takes the power of the Holy Spirit
2. It takes the transformation of the Holy Spirit
3. It takes faithfulness to the mission of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the fire that purifies and cleanses the people in whom He resides. If you invite the Spirit to change you, it is guaranteed that you will be made more Holy.

On Sunday, we honored our college graduates: Addie, Jackson, Joshua, and Leah. Part of this recognition is a time of prayer, commissioning these graduates to be on mission wherever they end up.

As we repeat every week at the end of our college service:
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 ESV

Mother's Day and Baby Dedication at Cook!

On Sunday, as Joseph brought a message about motherhood and about how at all ages we are called to pursue growing to what God will have for us, we got to acknowledge the awesome women who contribute to that growth in those around them.

We also got to celebrate the dedication of families and their children to the church. It was such a special time to dedicate effort to raising Godly children who are surrounded and grown by Godly wisdom.
