Church is family.❤️

Stephen’s life reminds us that our hope is not found in this life alone. Even in the face of death, he kept his eyes on Jesus and trusted Him completely.

That’s why we’re thankful for a church family that walks through life together—encouraging one another, serving one another, and pointing one another to Christ.

We don’t walk alone, and we don’t have to fear the future. We have Jesus, and we have each other.

Why don’t we have to fear death?

As we continued through Acts 7–8, we saw through Stephen’s life that with Jesus, death is not the end, death is not loss, and death is not without purpose.

Stephen faced death with his eyes fixed on Jesus, trusting that he would be welcomed into His presence. And even after Stephen’s death, God used his faithfulness to further the Gospel.

Our lives—and even our deaths—can be used for God’s glory.

Jesus is worth every step of this race.
