Grace Bible Church - Statement of Faith
Section A: The True God - We believe in the one sovereign God eternally existing in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; all equal and having a distinct ministry in God's relation to His creation and people
Section B: The Inspiration of the Scriptures - We believe that all Scripture is the inspired Word of God from the original inerrant
manuscripts. Since the Word of God is for our practical instruction, it is the final and supreme authority in both faith and practice. Section C: Creation - We believe in the total creation as stated in Genesis, and that man came by direct creation of God, not by evolution. Section D: Fall of Man - We believe that man, created in the image of God, blameless and perfect, voluntarily sinned against God, which resulted in broken fellowship betwee God and man. Section E: Total Depravity of Man - We believe that due to the Fall of Man, all humans, by nature, are separated from God and that man is totally unable to deliver himself from that separation and it is only through Christ that man can have deliverance. Section F: Reconciliation - We believe that Christ died to reconcile God and man and to redeem men from the penalties and dominion of their sins by the shedding of his blood. Section G: Salvation - We believe that salvation is the gift of God through His grace to us by faith and cannot be obtained by works. We can only be forgiven for our sins and receive eternal life through our personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died to shed His blood as a sacrifice for us. Section H: Eternal Security - We believe salvation is once and forever as promised in the Holy Scriptures and you cannot lose your salvation. Section N: The coming of our Lord - We believe in the pre-tribulation and pre-millenial return of our Lord Jesus Christ to call home those who have been born again, to live with Him for eternity. We also believe in His following return to earth, with His Saints, to establish His millenial kingdom. Section O: Resurrection - We believe in the bodily resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the Scriptures.
