Ever feel like you’re competing for the spotlight? You’re in good company. In this clip from our series on the Gospel of Mark, we look at a moment of pure irony: the disciples trying to stop someone else from doing good in Jesus' name just because they "weren't one of us."
After failing to cast out a demon themselves, the disciples got a bit "salty" when they saw someone else succeeding! Jesus uses this as a teaching moment to remind us that we aren't in competition—we’re on the same team.
Key Takeaways:
✨ Guarding the ministry vs. guarding your ego.
✨ Why Jesus accepts any ally in the battle against evil.
✨ Learning to celebrate the good done by others.
