CHANGE OF PLANS FOR TOMORROW!

Due to the severe rains and winds that came through our area this week, Calvary Church is currently without power. Since we don’t expect power to be restored in time based on the projections our power company has provided, we’re doing something a little different…

WE’RE MOVING CHURCH OUTSIDE! 🙌

Join us tomorrow, Sunday, September 6, at 10:30 AM on the front lawn of Calvary Church!

🪑 Bring a lawn chair or blanket
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Kids Ministry will still be available outside on the playground
☕ Come ready to worship, connect, and experience church together!
🍔 We will have 4 local food trucks for afterward (Outpost Eatery, Underdogz & Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream)

And here’s the best part: the Church isn’t a building. The power may be out, but the Gospel is still going forward!

Sometimes God changes our plans so He can remind us what really matters. So grab a chair, bring the family, and come worship with us outdoors. We’re believing God has something special for us in this change of plans!

Same Jesus. Same mission. Different setting. ❤️

We’ll see you tomorrow at 10:30 AM!

Make room for one more!

On September 13, we're launching a second service, but this isn't ultimately about adding another time to the schedule.

It's about making room for more people to find community, encounter Jesus, and discover the overflowing life He offers.

We believe there are people in our community who haven't found their church home yet. We're making room because we believe they matter.

Tag someone who needs a church family and invite them to join you September 13.

We want the next generation to have more than a place to attend, we want them to have a place to belong.

NextGen Groups are kicking off September 9th. It's a space for kids to build friendships, grow in their faith, and discover what it means to follow Jesus.

Parents, you don't have to carry the responsibility of raising faith-filled kids alone. We're in this together.

Life gets loud.

Schedules fill up. Notifications keep coming. Responsibilities demand our attention. Before long, we can spend more time reacting to life than remembering who God is.

This Wednesday, we're creating space to pause, refocus, and worship together.

No performance. No pressure. Just people gathering in the presence of Jesus.

Save this post and be sure to join us tonight for our Night of Worship from 7-8pm.

What happens when someone asks for one thing—but what they really need is something far greater?

In Acts 3, a man who had been unable to walk asks Peter and John for money. Instead, they offer him something far more valuable: Jesus.

Join Pastor Nick for this week’s Beyond the Message devotional as we go deeper into what it means to live out the love of Jesus—to see the people others overlook, give what God has placed in our hands, and help point people toward the One who can transform their lives.

You may not have silver or gold, but if you have Jesus, you have more than enough to give someone hope.

Some of the best moments of community don't happen in a church building.

They happen over conversations, shared experiences, and laughter.

On September 19, we're heading to a Pirates game together. It's a chance to connect with people, meet someone new, and simply enjoy being part of a church family.

Community doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it starts with showing up.

We will be going as a church to the Pirates game against the Kansas City Royals on Saturday, September 19 at 6:40pm. Tickets are $33/person, Upper Bleachers (sections 235-238).
