What if the greatest obstacle to following Jesus isn't saying "no" to Him...but saying "later"?

In Luke 9, a man boldly tells Jesus, "I will follow You wherever You go." But Jesus responds with a question underneath the question: "Will you follow Me there?"

There. The uncomfortable place.
There. The uncertain place.
There. The place that costs something.

So often we sing, pray, and declare our devotion to Jesus, but keep certain areas of our lives off the table. Yet true discipleship begins when we stop hiding the cards and honestly surrender everything to Him.

He suffered so we could experience healing.

The cross wasn't an accident—it was the greatest expression of God's love for humanity.

Today, take a moment to reflect on the price Jesus paid and the freedom He offers.

Today we celebrate the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, spiritual fathers, and father figures who faithfully lead, serve, encourage, and love.

Thank you for the sacrifices no one sees, the lessons you teach, the prayers you pray, and the example you set.

We also recognize that Father's Day can be difficult for many. Whether you're missing your dad, grieving a loss, or navigating a complicated relationship, know that you are seen, loved, and not alone.

Happy Father's Day from Calvary Church. May God strengthen you, encourage you, and remind you of His perfect Fatherly love today.
