Your story doesn't have to become their story.

The things we experience in life can leave marks on us. Sometimes those wounds influence how we parent, how we love, how we respond to conflict, and how we see ourselves.

And when those wounds go unaddressed, unhealthy patterns can find their way into the next generation.

But the good news is that the cycle doesn't have to continue.

God cares about restoration, not just for us, but for the people who come after us. Healing starts when we're willing to bring the broken places into His presence and take the next step toward wholeness.

Some things in life don't turn out how we planned.

Dreams fall apart. Relationships get complicated. Plans change. Sometimes, even our faith feels a little worn down by everything we've walked through.

But what if the places that feel like the end of the story are actually where God wants to begin rebuilding?

This Sunday, we're starting a brand-new series called Out of the Ashes, walking through the book of Nehemiah and discovering how God brings restoration out of ruin.

🍂 Fall Fest 2026 was one for the books! 🍂

Thank you, Norwin! Last night our campus was full of families, laughter, good food, and a whole lot of fun. We’re so grateful you came out.

🙌 A huge shout-out to our amazing vendors: Burning Oaks Coffee, UnderDogz, Sugar Monkey, Hayride and barrel train. You brought the flavor and the fun, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Go show them some love!

💙 And to our incredible Calvary team members: you set up, served, greeted, parked cars, ran games, and stayed late to clean up. Because of you, every family who walked through our doors felt welcomed and cared for. That’s what being a church that cares looks like.

Do one thing this week that isn’t on your list.

Work, practices, errands, dinner. The week fills up before it starts, and the people next door blur into background.

So here’s a small challenge. Give one hour this Friday to the people who live near you. Learn their kids’ names and eat something with them.
