We are doing our spring cleanup and revamping the metal pile over the next week or so.

Please don’t put metal in this area. Check in at the office and we will guide you on how to drop off metal. Rest assured, we are still taking metal! Just doing things differently.

As a reminder, please don’t throw any pressurized tanks, electronics, batteries, and/or trash in the metal bin. We have a spot for everything!

Reminder, if you are from an alliance member town, (Barnard, Bethel, Granville, Hancock, Rochester, Royalton and Stockbridge), please stop in to trade in your white number card for an orange one to avoid the non alliance fees starting January 1.

Non alliance towns people will still be allowed to use our facility, but a fee will be assessed on top of what you bring in. $40 on the scale and $20 at the bag/recycling window.

To get an orange card, you will need an ID or tax bill with an alliance town address on it.

Vermont Law Students will be accepted as alliance town members with a VLS student ID.

This facility was originally built for the alliance towns only. Somewhere down the road, it got opened up to everyone. We are getting folks from far and wide because of the prices here which is causing us to get busier. We are not equipped to handle the volume with the limited amount of trailers. We can only get one trailer a day usually and none on Saturday's. The higher volume is causing us to fill up and forcing us to close early when that happens and it isn't fair to the taxpayers for this facility.

If you would like more clarification or have any questions, please feel free to email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you have!
