With the weather looking frightful for Christmas Eve, the Christmas Eve service will be held in the church at 5:30, with a bonfire and cider outside after the service. We encourage you to remain mindful of Covid, even if it has entered the "endemic" stage.

On Christmas Eve, we invite you all to join us for an outdoor service at 5:30pm led by Rev. Dr. Claire Bamberg, where we will gather with neighbors, friends, and family and rejoice through words, carols, and warmth, standing or sitting by the bonfires that will light up the meadow between the Church and Broad Brook.

Last year, it was a magical sight to behold, with the glow of the bonfires lighting up each person present, both inside & out. If it is truly frigid or inclement, we will hold Christmas Eve service inside the church, being mindful of Covid, even if endemic.

Death Café

Friday, September 30, 7:00pm
Community Hall

Our first Death Café (https://deathcafe.com/) in July was well attended, with folks requesting another opportunity to discuss all things death in a comfortable and supportive setting.

Mollie McHugh and Heather Leavitt will be at the East Barnard Community Hall to welcome you with tea and cookies, and be ready to answer the questions you’ve always wondered about or discuss any aspect of death and dying you need to discuss.

Death Cafe is a not for profit organisation which aims to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives
