How delightful it was to have members of the AKA Sorority come and spend time with our girls at summercamp on yesterday. The smiles were nice to see on their faces.

We delight in our community showing up and taking the opportunity to inspire, and encourage our future. It takes a village!

Becoming youth summit today was awesome. Every presenter was amazing. Testimonies and words if encouragement shared by Breaking The Cycle guys had me in tears. I am grateful to all who showed up and to all who supported.

Today I had the privilege of spending time with some outstanding young men at Youth of Distinction, hosted by Ahava Outreach Ministries.

Being there reminded me how important it is to invest in the next generation. Throughout my career, I’ve served this community in ways that go beyond the job. Whether it was volunteering with MADD, supporting local programs, or simply taking the time to help someone who needed it, I’ve always believed those moments mattered.

I never did those things for recognition. I did them because I felt called to serve. And I still do.

Whether it’s encouraging a young person to make good choices, helping someone get their life back on track, or walking alongside a family during one of the hardest days of their lives, I’ve always tried to treat people with dignity and respect.

That belief has guided my entire life, and that is the kind of Sheriff I will be.

I cannot wait to see there prayers manifest 🙏🙏🙏🙌
