Today Shady Hill celebrated our youth. We acknowledged our scholars who will move on to their next season and oh what great things they have accomplished thus far. We are also so ecstatic about those youth who stepped up to assist the Pastor on the program. (Shamiyah Farrar-Responsive Reading, Jayda Dillehay-Prayer of Gratitude, Quran Thomas-Scripture) Amazing job!!! It was a beautiful day of love and laughter. The reception was awesome as families took pictures at the photobooth capturing memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you to all in attendance and thanks to everyone who helped to make this event a success.

Dr. Michelle Furges also received a surprise beautiful gift for all her hard work and dedication to the youth.

Congratulations and continuous prayers for a bright future. Shady Hill is proud of all its youth!!! Our God is an awesome God!

Today we celebrated one of our own as he heads to the Marines. Shady Hill congratulates Christopher Williams on his next endeavor. We are so proud of all he has accomplished and with God we know the Best Is Yet To Come!!! Pictured here are Chris with our Pastor, Rev. Shaun Woods, then with his grandparents Deacon Daniel and Deaconess Lillian Williams. The final pictures you see Christopher receiving his certificate and his gift from the Church as well as him thanking the church and sharing a beautiful poem entitled: "Sacrifices."
