RIZE & SHINE at RoxNaz

It's been awhile since we've posted anything on this page. God is still at work with the Roxana NYI Wednesday nights. Here are some pictures of them playing gaga ball and dodge ball. No pictures of the Bible study but that is where God has really been meeting with us.
As we approach a new church year, please pray for these kids. When you have over 50 attending, sometimes it can get "interesting". If you have and want to invest in the lives of these kids, please see us. We can always use the extra help.

Another month to have fun with the youth. You can tell that they know the rules, must attend church to go on an event. This month Pastor Gage set up ice skating.

A big thanks to Pastor Gage and Alyssa for hosting the NYI Sunday School Christmas party. There were 11 youth, 5 adults, and 1 child. Everyone had a good time.

Just a reminder, we will not be having RIZE and SHINE on Christmas and New Years day. After tomorrow, we're looking forward to seeing everyone again January 8, 2025.

Another night of youth activity at Roxana Nazarene Church. For the youth to participate, they must attend Sunday morning worship and/or Sunday School. I believe we had 18 youth in our morning worship service, of which 3 were first time ever. To God be ALL the Glory!
We had 15 youth for our NYI night at Edison's with 4 adult supervisors.

Jesus said, "The harvest is plentiful". Little can we understand just how big the harvest really is in our little part of the world. God has really been helping the Roxana Nazarene church youth lately. Our Wednesday night attendance has seen such a steady growth each week. For the first time since Pastor Gage has come working with Joe, we've had over 50 kids in attendance. Every week since Aug 28 we've had at least 1 new kid attend. Tonight, 16 kids received a Bible and a prayer journal. "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."

God is on the move at the Roxana Nazarene church with the youth. Last night Pastor Gage gave the lessen then opened up the alter for anyone who needed/wanted prayer. 12 stepped forward! 1 gave their heart to Jesus for the first time ever! Thanks to Pastor Gage, Alyssa, and Mike Toolen Jr for stepping up and praying with our kids.
We also had our monthly NYI Youth Night. We had 15 kids in church and 13 went roller skating with us. Here are some pictures/videos of the fun we have.

Another great night of RIZE and SHINE at the Roxana Nazarene church. 2 youth had a special time of prayer with Pastor Gage. All of this can't happen without the support of the church. Thank you to all who put in the effort making a difference in the lives of these kids.
