Today we continued to learn about following Jesus, we acted out scenes and did some scripture art.

Wednesday is right around the corner, Please practice the Lord's prayer with your children. Our goal by the end of the month is that every child will be able to speak this and understand the meaning behind it. Break it down in smaller pieces if your child is having a difficult time with it as a whole. Thanks for all that you do! See y'all Wednesday!

Our 1st - 5th grade will be working on the lords Prayer in Wednesday night connect group for the month of January. We will learn why this prayer is important! With this we will also learn why we pray and how. Our goal is to show the kids how POWERFUL prayer is, so when they deal with hard times they feel comfortable and encouraged to reach out to God, but in doing this... parents.... caregivers, we need your HELP! We need them to practice at home! Make this a bed time routine together, a before dinner, or just whenever you can! Practicing at home to reinforced this lesson will be key. Lets have fun with it and learn the Lords Prayer together! Cant wait to see the kids grow in this New Year! Happy Wednesday! 😊
