Women of the Bible Women's Study Group!

All are welcome!

Join us for A Women’s Study Group beginning Tuesday, June 2, 10:00 am., at St. Cecilia’s church in Round Top (Henkel Square). Our first study will begin with Eve, Genesis 2:22, continue through the 23 prominent women of the Old Testament (out of 125 that are mentioned), and end with 12 of the 60 women mentioned by name in the New Testament. We will use our Bibles to examine and reflect on what was written about these women and discuss the following questions: who were they, what relevance did they have, how would we tell their stories, and what is missing from the narratives? Please join us on June 2 for a summer study on the Women of the Bible, and bring your bibles and notebooks for capturing key points. The group will run for six consecutive Tuesdays but skip Tuesday, June 16th. For more information contact Vivian Dawkins at [email protected].

This Sunday at Saint Cecilia's Round Top!

Join us on Sunday, May 31st, at either 8:45 a.m. or 10:45 a.m. for an inspiring hour of worship on Trinity Sunday. We welcome musician extraordinaire Amanda Kitchens who joins Stephen Mansolo to share some great songs including: Day by Day from Godspell, What a Wonderful World made famous (eventually) by Louis Armstrong, What a Beautiful World by Rodney Crowell, the moving spiritual He's Got the Whole World in His Hands, and the traditional hymns Holy, Holy, Holy, For the Beauty of the Earth, and Higher Ground. Father Bill's sermon is titled: "Where Yaks Do Not Fear to Tread" or "Why It's All Good" or "When Mount Everest is Not There." Join us for another powerful Sunday at Saint Cecilia's.
