The Pilgrim's Path

Join us this Sunday, November 1st, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Cecilia's Round Top in Henkel Square as we explore "The Pilgrim’s Path" with Father Bill Miller. We will look at how a personal pilgrimage can impact one's spiritual journey and how one's spiritual journey is always an ongoing pilgrimage (of the heart, soul, mind, and sometimes - feet!)

We will look at the spiritual attitudes to be cultivated if we are to "follow" Jesus. We will explore important discipleship themes such as intention, attention, gratitude, curiosity, openness, wonder, journeying and timing. We will also consider the many ways a pilgrimage can impact one's relationship with Christ, to empower us to love God and our neighbor more fully.

Finally, we will look specifically at the Camino de Santiago and answer any questions you may have. Note: Our September 2027 Portuguese Camino is completely booked with an additional five folks already on the waiting list. But we will offer more pilgrimages in coming years. Curious? Come explore with us!

A Prayer for all our People Working Hard During the Round Top Antiques Show

Oh Lord, please watch over all of our friends who will be working so hard over these next few weeks. For all of our vendors, shop owners, lodging hosts, artists, craftspeople, musicians, chefs, errand runners, and salespeople - keep them safe, steady and strong. Please give them an extra measure of patience, kindness and grace. May they not forget to care for their bodies, minds and souls. Use them in their encounters to share your light and love with others. In the name of the One who was prepared for ministry by working with his father as a carpenter in his shop, Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
