Encounter God’s Heart…

Seek Counsel

In life, we will face many spiritual battles. Some seasons may feel like an endless barrage of hardship and disappointment. In these times, as in all times, let us go to the Lord who always gives perspective for our confusion and clarity for our questions. Seeking counsel from the wise ones in our lives will serve us well. Seeking counsel from the Spirit of wisdom is an open door that we should always walk through.

What problems are you facing today? What are the challenges that you feel ill-equipped to address? Go to the Lord and reach out to trusted counsel in your life. You will know the right thing to do as you let the truth settle into your heart and the Spirit speaks confidence to your soul. He does not often give a blueprint, but he does illuminate the next step. Don’t wait for the full play-by-play before you take the next step right in front of you. God will faithfully guide you as you look to him.

Wise One, speak to me with your truth and enlighten my mind with your revelation-light.

Preteens (4th-6th) meet in the Youth trailer building!

Youth (7th-12th) meet in the Youth trailer building!

Adults are invited to join Doug Tipps for Bible study around the tables in the sanctuary. This time of study is casual, informal and interactive. Grab a Bible, use one available at the church, or download an app on your phone.

Wednesdays @ Soul Cafe

Each Wednesday, we are grateful to offer a meal to our community. For $2 per person, and $5 per family, you can enjoy a delicious meal, often prepared with local ingredients. Join us each week at 5:30 pm.

This Wednesday, August 26, 2026, We are having Chicken, Bacon Ranch Pasta, Bread & Cookies for dessert!!!!!!

I Hear His Whisper...I’ve seen it all.

Dearest one, I’ve watched as you’ve thanked our Father for me and all I’ve done for you, but did you know that I thank him for you? You are his love gift to me. You keep my Word and walk in my ways, even when the light is dim and uncertainty surrounds you. As you walk along the highway of praise, I rejoice with you. I see that you long to be a doer of my Word and not just a hearer. I watch your faithfulness, even in that which is little, as you do your tasks with your heart set upon me.

Nothing you’ve done has gone unnoticed. Every movement of your heart toward me is precious in my sight. I’ve watched as you obeyed me in difficulty. I’ve celebrated as you overcame the temptations that tried to pull you away. I’ve rejoiced with you as you discovered the power of your faith. You have surrendered your all, time and time again. You’ve come to me, and you are mine—wonderfully, beautifully, and fearfully made.

When I Need to Remember Who I Am in Christ

Thank You, Father, that because I believe in You and have received You into my heart, I am a child of God and everything I have comes from God. You are my heavenly Father, and because of that I can move into the inheritance You have especially saved for me. Help me to understand all that You have for me so that I will be able to receive it. If there are things You have willed for my life that I am not moving in to claim, help me to understand what they are. Help me to walk in the liberty You have freed me to enjoy.

Matthew 25: 37-46
"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothes you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brother and sisters of mine, you did for me.'
"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink. I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothes me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me. "They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison and did not help you?"
