Listen to the love song that I am continually singing to you. I take great delight in you. I rejoice over you in singing. The voices of the world are a cacophony of chaos, pulling you this way and that. Don't listen to those voices; challenge them with My Word. Learn to take minibreaks from the world, finding a place to be still in My Presence and listen to My voice.

There is immense hidden treasure to be found through listening to Me. Though I pour out blessings upon you always, some of My richest blessings have to be actively sought. I love to reveal Myself to you, and your seeking heart opens you up to receive more of My disclosure. Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Each Wednesday, we are grateful to offer a meal to our community. For $2 per person, and $5 per family, you can enjoy a delicious meal, often prepared with local ingredients. Join us each week at 5:30 pm.

This Wednesday, May 6, 2026, we are having Cheesy Ground Beef and Rice Casserole, Side Salad, and Brownies for Dessert!!

You are invited to stay and attend one of our Wed. ministry classes (6-7pm) — for all ages from preschool through senior adults.

Soul Cafe Kids (PreK-3rd) meet in the Children’s building with Ms. Melissa and Mr. Andrew!

Preteens (4th-6th) meet in the Youth trailer building with Ms. Christina!

Youth (7th-12th) meet in the Youth trailer building with Ms. Christina!

Adults are invited to join Doug Tipps for Bible study around the tables in the sanctuary. This time of study is casual, informal and interactive. Grab a Bible, use one available at the church, or download an app on your phone.

Do not search for security in the world you inhabit. You tend to make mental checklists of things you need to do in order to gain control of your life. If only you could check everything off your list, you could relax and be at peace. But the more you work to accomplish that goal, the more things crop up on your list. The harder you try, the more frustrated you become.

There is a better way to find security in this life. Instead of scrutinizing your checklist, focus on your attention of My Presence with you. This continual contact with Me will keep you in My Peace. Moreover, I will help you sort out what is important and what is not, what needs to be done now and what does not. Fix your eyes not on what is seen (your circumstances), but on what is unseen (My Presence).

I Hear His Whisper...

Be true in love.

Drink in the deep delight of my heart today. Fill up on my unending kindness. Feast on my compassion. Does it feel like I’m pushing you too hard to receive? It is only because the more you receive, the more you have to give. I don’t want the well of your heart to run dry because you feel as if you have to stir up love on your own. First drink from my living waters, and you will find that you have more than enough to offer others.

When you find yourself laboring to love those around you, it is a sign that you need to turn your heart toward me in surrender. Let me water the garden of your heart with the showers of my mercy. There’s no need to strive to love. Your choices matter—of course they do. But you have the resource of unending love at hand. Let your soul come alive in the light of my kindness, and you will find that kindness flows freely from you. There’s no need to pretend. Just be true in love by allowing me to refill you constantly. Keep coming back to me and drinking up every chance you get.

When I Need Hope and Joy in My Heart

Lord, there is nothing that gives me greater joy than worshipping You. There is nothing more fulfilling, healing, and enlightening than giving You praise. Worshipping You invites Your presence into my life in greater measure. Thank You that when I am in Your presence, You share Yourself with me. You pour all that You are into my soul and spirit. Whenever I am in Your presence, I can feel Your wholeness making me whole. Help me to remember to praise You at the first sign of hopelessness or loss of joy. Help me to make worship of You my first response to all that happens in my life.

They worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.

Encounter God in Prayer...

The Priority of Jesus

Jesus, I want to be just like you. In your life, you spent time with the Father, praying in solitude. You got up early or went off alone when others were busy, just so you could spend time with the Father. I know that this is important for me to do as well.

You lead me to the Father through fellowship with your Spirit. You empower me in strength and wisdom in your presence. I cannot ignore the importance of fellowship through prayer that you exhibited in your life, Jesus. I make you my greatest priority, just as you made the Father yours. I know that as I pray, you are doing a marvelous work on the inside of me. You knit together under the surface what no one else can even sense is there. You move in power through your Spirit, and you shine your glory on my life as I look to you. I want to be so enraptured by your beauty, God, that I cannot look away. May your glory shine on my face as I soak in the wonders of who you are, and let my life be a continual prayer before you!
