King David accomplished many great things on his life. He became the hero of Israel as a young man after killing a giant that no soldier was willing to fight. He survived a jealous king long enough to see God’s promise fulfilled and become king himself. He established a great and powerful nation. He wrote an entire book filled with songs and poems of worship and he made all the preparations for his son, Solomon, to build a temple for their God, Jehovah, after his death. But in all of that he wrote in Psalm 24 that there was only one thing that he desired and one thing that he would pursue for his entire life.

When we pray for others or even speak about our world, we want avoid criticism and judgment. It's easy to fall into that and very prevalent in our culture. But as the body of Christ, we can be different. Our world needs salvation, and we are the ones that can bring it.
