Word of Peace is a vibrant and growing congregation with active participants from young families to retirees. We welcome all people to worship, pray, learn, and serve with us. We offer are a variety of worship styles, classes, small groups, events and activities to anyone. Word of Peace is an open and affirming congregation of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America).

Happy PeaceFest 🎉

Today we celebrated the return to our fall schedule & kicked off a new year of connection at Word of Peace 🍂

From food trucks, coffee, donuts, inflatables & opportunities to learn about what’s happening this Fall, it was such a joy to gather together as a community ❤️

Also, a special morning it was to have our JAM Kids (Jesus And Music) lead us in worship across all three services 🎶 They learned songs, actions & even handchimes at our summer music camp nearly four weeks ago, had their dress rehearsal yesterday, & shared all they had learned with our congregation today 🫶🏼

It was a beautiful, sunny & crisp fall day, to celebrate not only the start of a new season, but the gift of being together. We’re looking forward to the year ahead & all the ways we’ll grow, serve, worship, & connect as a congregation this year!

Last Sunday, we were reminded that hope is more than a feeling, it’s a declaration of faith in the future God has promised.

Together, we lifted our voices and remembered that our songs can become the sound of hope ❤️

There are so many resources available in our community, it was great to bring them together in one place 🤝

Our Senior Resource Fair at Word of Peace was an afternoon of connection, conversation, and helpful information for seniors and their loved ones 🩷

So much around us changes. Seasons shift. Circumstances come and go. We grow, we learn, and our lives take unexpected turns.

But Jesus remains.

The same faithfulness.

Baptisms, backpack blessings, graduations, Confirmation, and so many moments in between 🤍

We’re grateful to walk alongside our children and youth as they grow, learn, and discover God’s love 🙏🏼
