This Week at CCC

- A new fall sermon series is starting! This fall, we’ll be exploring the books of Habakkuk, Joel, Jonah, and Ruth through the themes of mourning and rejoicing. These four books invite us to bring our honest grief, questions, and celebrations before God. Join us Sundays at 10AM as we begin this new series together.

- UNITE Q+A is this Sunday after church! If you’re a high school student or parent interested in UNITE, stick around after service to learn more, ask questions, and find out how you can be part of this national youth conference.

- Elderberries BUNCO is coming up! Join us Saturday, September 12 at 12:30PM for an afternoon of games, laughter, and fellowship. There is a $10 donation for lunch, which will include chili and baked potatoes. Come ready to have some fun!

- Cookie Outreach was a huge success! Yesterday, we handed out over 200 cookies to our community! Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible. Our next Cookie Outreach is September 15, and we need your help to keep the cookies coming. You can bake cookies or volunteer to help distribute them. Cookie Outreach takes place on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 2:30–3:30PM.

- Family Ministry Kickball & Lunch is coming up on Sunday, September 20, after church! Come enjoy some friendly competition and time together as a church family!

This Week at CCC

- Jump Month continues! We’re continuing our Jump Month series, exploring spiritual insights revealed through nature videos. Join us Sundays at 10AM as we discover what God can teach us through the world around us.

- Week of Prayer continues! Let’s keep praying together as we begin this new ministry year. Join us Wednesday and Friday at 6:30PM or Thursday at noon for intentional times of prayer. On Saturday, we’ll invite you to pray specifically for refugees in our community. Check out the prayer guide linked in our bio and join us as we pray for our neighbors near and far.

- Calling all moms! MOD (Moms Off Duty) meets next Wednesday, September 2. Come connect with other moms for a time of encouragement, community, and conversation.

- Operation Roof Rescue is in the home stretch! We only have a few more weeks to help reach our $115,000 goal by September 1. Thank you to everyone who has already given. If you haven't had a chance to contribute, there's still time to help us make the needed roof repairs before the rains return. Give online, by check, or through Venmo.

- Registration for UNITE is open! UNITE is a national youth conference for high school students happening this summer. Talk to Pastor Jeff for more information and to learn how you can be part of this exciting opportunity.

This Week at CCC

Elderberries Game Time is this Thursday! Come enjoy an afternoon of games, laughter, and fellowship. It’s a great opportunity to connect with others and build community.

Week of Prayer is here! Stay after church this Sunday for Pizza and Prayer as we pray over Parker Whitney. Can’t make it Sunday? Join us throughout the week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6:30PM or Tuesday and Thursday at noon. We’ll wrap up the week by walking and praying for refugees as part of Miles for Refugees.

UNITE, a national youth conference for high school students, is happening this summer! Registration is now open. Talk to Pastor Jeff for more information and to learn how you can be part of this exciting opportunity.

Operation Roof Rescue is well underway! Thank you to everyone who has given toward our goal. We’ve now raised nearly $75,000 toward the $115,000 needed for our roof repairs. There are just a few more weeks to help us reach our goal by September 1. You can give online, by check, or through Venmo.

This Week at CCC

- Jump Sunday is THIS Sunday, August 16! Join us as we kick off the new ministry year with worship, a potluck, and games after church. Don't forget to bring a food item to share and stick around for the fun! It's a great Sunday to invite a friend, neighbor, or family member. Who are you inviting to Jump Sunday?

- Week of Prayer is next week! Help us start the new ministry year covered in prayer as we take intentional breaks throughout the week to pray together.

We'll begin with Pizza & Prayer after church on Sunday, August 23, focusing on praying for Parker Whitney, and end the week with Miles for Refugees on Saturday, August 29, praying for refugees in the Greater Sacramento area. We hope you'll join us for these meaningful opportunities to pray together.

- Operation Roof Rescue is well underway! Our goal is to raise $115,000 by September 1 to repair our church roof before the rainy season returns. You can give toward Operation Roof Rescue online, by check, or through Venmo. Thank you for investing in the future of our church home and the ministries that happen here each week.

This Week at CCC

- Our summer sermon series, Character Summer, continues this Sunday as we look at the life of Peter. Through his story, we'll discover how God uses imperfect people, grows our faith, and calls us to boldly follow Jesus. Join us at 10AM as we continue discovering what these biblical figures teach us about following Christ.

- Thank you to everyone who stayed after church for our Cookie Baking Party! Together we baked over 250 cookies for Cookie Outreach. Your generosity will help us continue sharing Christ's love with our community in a simple and meaningful way.

- This week we've had the unique opportunity to host the National Guard Youth Theater Camp at CCC! As the week comes to a close, the students will be putting on two performances, and we'd love to fill the audience with encouragement. Join us Friday, July 31 at 5PM or Saturday, August 1 at 11AM—or come to both! Let's cheer these kids on and celebrate all they've accomplished this week.

- There's still time to join Miles for Refugees: Move to Welcome!
