Jesus extends an open invitation to everyone: “Come to Me.” Not just a select few — everyone who is weary and burdened.

True freedom isn’t doing whatever we want — that kind of “freedom” actually leaves us unstable, reactive, and unglued. Jesus offers something better: His yoke.

When we voluntarily join with Jesus, free radicals become radically free. In His yoke, we find rest, safety, and security — not chains.

And the more we stay connected to Him, the more we learn from Him. As John 17:3 reminds us, knowing God is eternal life — and that knowledge transforms everything.

Are you carrying a heavy burden today? Jesus is still saying “Come to Me.”

On Memorial Day, we hold in our hearts the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We give thanks for their courage and lift up their families in prayer.

May we never take lightly the cost of the liberty we enjoy — and may we honor their memory by loving our neighbors well.

Graduations of Life: Leaving

Change can be scary — but sometimes God’s greatest blessings are on the other side of fear. Following Jesus begins with leaving: leaving our comfort zones, our control, and our reliance on personal experience.

Like the disciples who dropped their nets and walked away from everything familiar, we’re called to trust His word above all else. When we step out in faith, we discover that we truly can do nothing without Him.

Is God calling you to leave something behind today? Take the step — the new beginning is worth it.
