VPK became scent detectives this week! 👃🏻

As we learned about our five senses, our VPK buds put their noses to the test!! smelling mystery scents, deciding whether they were good or very much NOT good, and ranking their favorites!

we had some big opinions about some of those smells!

Learning, investigating, and having a little fun along the way is what Rockledge Presbyterian School is all about 😎

Sweet little K1 days 🪿🤍

Our littlest friends are surely settling into gentle routines, singing fun songs together that help them learn, creating little masterpieces, enjoying outdoor time, and, most importantly….having SO much fun while doing it!!!

There’s something extra special about watching these little ones grow more comfortable, confident, and connected each day!!!

We have room for more buddies in some classes, please message us for a tour!

K3 is busy, busy, BUSY (just the way we like our 3/4 year olds 😂)! 🤩🤩

Ms. Sandy keeps our K3 buddies working hard on our curriculum, practicing those important preschool skills and routines, and…maybe most importantly, learning how to be a classroom group! 🤝🏻

There are lots of little friendships forming, routines becoming familiar, and lots of proud little “I did it!” moments happening every day!! Ms. Sandy and Ms. Ashley are here for it 👏🏻

The ‘ber months are OFFICIALLY here, and that means it’s time for maximum preschool cuteness!!!! 🎃

Costume parades, Friendsgiving, our yearly Christmas program, all the tiny crafts with handprints and glitter, cozy classroom moments like PJ days and hot cocoa parties, and SOOO many sweet memories to make! 🦃 🎄🍁

“Just a dot, not a lot!”👏

Our VPK buds are learning that when it comes to glue, a little goes a long way! Kindergarten readiness looks like learning the big stuff with our Frog Street curriculum AND the tiny little skills that help us become confident, independent learners who can successfully navigate a kindergarten classroom 🤩✂️

Kindergarten readiness isn’t just knowing your letters and numbers!!!

Our VPK buddies are learning how to listen, communicate, problem-solve, make friends, manage emotions, work together, and build important academic skills, too!! Learning to navigate in a classroom setting is vital to kindergarten success!

Through Frog Street curriculum and play that has meaning, we’re helping them grow into confident, capable little kindergarteners, which will happen before we know it!!!

Our VPK class had so much fun creating a friendship quilt together while learning about kindness, teamwork, patterns, colors, and following directions (not to mention fine motor skills)!

It’s all part of our Frog Street kindergarten-readiness curriculum, where academic learning and social/emotional growth go hand in hand to ensure our VPK friends are getting a well rounded education!!

From early literacy and math skills to friendships and independence, our VPK friends are little by little getting ready for that next big adventure ahead!!!

Our VPK class is FULL! But we do have spots in one or two more classes - please reach out to see if we have an opening for your little one 🤩
