And just like that… The circle times have ended. The centers have been cleaned up and put away. The tiny chairs are pushed back in for the last time, and suddenly all of the little routines that once felt so ordinary have become some of the sweetest memories of their early childhood!
The buddies they shared snacks with every day…the little friends they ran beside on the playground, laughed with at centers, and searched for first thing each morning…are about to head off to different schools to the big world of kindergarten!!
While they may outgrow these little classrooms, pieces of Rockledge Presbyterian School will live on for years and years to come…in handmade ornaments pulled out every Christmas, in handprint crafts tucked carefully into memory boxes, in tiny handprint artwork hanging on refrigerators, and in photos that will forever freeze this sweet (and SHORT) season of life!!
One day these little voices will sound older, their backpacks will get bigger, they’ll stop needing help putting on their shoes (but they’ll probably never stop asking “why”!!). But somewhere in family photo albums, they’ll always be these little preschooler,sfull of wonder, imagination, and joy!
From all of us at RPS, THANK YOU for trusting us with your children. It has been such a privilege to watch them grow, learn, laugh, make friendships, and become exactly who God created them to be!!
More than anything, we hope that years from now, when they think back on preschool, they remember feeling deeply loved here!! 🥹
We can’t wait to celebrate this incredible school year tonight at 6pm in the church!! complete with tiny caps and gowns, proud families, and children singing (and very possibly shouting 🙉) like they’re headlining a stadium tour!!
