The Gloria Dei Parents Group traded bedtime routines for Thai Pop last Saturday! We enjoyed a kid-free evening filled with delicious food, lots of laughs, and plenty of time to catch up and enjoy some grown-up conversation.

✨This Thursday, July 9, from 6:30-8 pm, author Nico Lang (they/them) will host a reading and Q&A session at Gloria Dei on their book American Teenager: How Trans Kids are Surviving Hate and Finding Joy in a Turbulent Era.
A journalist, Lang focuses the book on the stories of eight trans teens growing up in America today. Because themes of faith surface in many of these teens' stories, Lang has shared in several churches around the country during their book tour, and we look forward to having them at Gloria Dei this week! Their book will be available for purchase. 📚

Sixteen Youth Group high schoolers had a great bonfire at the Smith Family Farm in Zumbro Falls yesterday. They had the chance to get to know the animals, pick cherries 🍒 from the fruit trees, enjoy food and beverages together, and watch a beautiful sunset 🌅.
