After an 8-hour journey, we made it to Kansas City! We enjoyed pizza together, participated in orientation for our week of service, explored the church that is hosting us, and spent some time at the park while Jennifer and Pastor Anna picked up food and supplies for the week. Please keep them in your prayers for safe travels, meaningful experiences, and opportunities to share the love of Jesus with everyone they meet. Last night, we gathered in the quiet beauty of Holden Evening Prayer for a peaceful time of worship, reflection, song, and communion. In the midst of busy schedules and noisy days, it was a gift to pause, pray, and rest in God's presence together. Following worship, we enjoyed fellowship and ice cream treats, sharing conversation and community with one another. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special midweek service. We hope you'll join us for our remaining Holden Evening Prayer services this summer on July 15 and August 19.
