The Bethel Lutheran Church congregation has had a strong fiscal year. Thank you for your generosity to the Bethel Annual Fund and the Building Mortgage Reduction Fund. On July 29th, Bethel made the last payment of our $5.7 million mortgage. We will celebrate this milestone with a celebration November 14 and 15. In September and October there will be Mission Minutes regarding:

• The “new” Built to Serve” program
• The Endowment Program
• The Annual Fund/Budget for 2027.

Two Glad you Asked meetings are being scheduled for Sunday, September 13th. The first meeting will be at 11:30 AM in the Chapel. The second meeting will be at 7 pm using Zoom. RSVP Pastor Anjanette for the Zoom link: [email protected].

Wednesday evening Bible Study begins on September 16th, and you are invited to participate!

Pastor Michael Mandsager will be leading a six-part study of the ELCA's social statement on Faith and Civic Life.

Each session will take place at 6:40 p in Room 115. Mark your calendars for September 16th, 23rd, 30th, and October 7th, 21st, and 28th.

Join us for our September book club! September 15th at 3:30 pm in Room 115. The book we will be discussing is "The Mad Wife" by Meagan Church. A novel that weaves domestic drama with psychological suspense.

Reservations must be made by September 15th by calling Judy Pucci. Gluten free lunch may be available upon request. The luncheon is $15 and can be paid the day of, there is no charge for the program only (program starts at 1 pm).

Rally Weekend is back!

Join us on Saturday, September 12th for a snack mix after worship!

On Sunday, September 13th, you are invited to our Rally Weekend Brunch from 9:15-10:45 am
served in Bethel Hall. We will be serving egg bake, muffins, breads, fruit & coffee. Volunteers are needed to help serve the snack mix on Saturday and brunch on Sunday. To sign up to volunteer, please call the church office or sign up in the volunteer opportunities at worship this weekend.

Children, Youth, and Family Ministry is hosting the Rally Day Carnival along with a special Meet the Leaders event! Join us as we kick off a new school year at Bethel. Families should plan to attend a worship service and allow time for Meet the Leaders from 10 – 10:30 am. We will have bounce houses, kids' activities, a photo booth, and more fun activities starting at 10:30 am in the courtyard! New families are encouraged to attend an orientation meeting in Rooms 213/214 to learn more about all of the opportunities for kids and families at Bethel.

As children and youth head back to school, children at Bethel were invited to particpate in our weekly Children's Word where Pastor Michael, and Susan Larson, our director of Children's Ministry, shared with the youth that God loves them!
