"Meet & W**d" With CUMC Garden Enthusiasts

Christ United Methodist Garden Enthusiasts — please join us for our weekly "Meet and W**d" every Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Come hang out with members of your church family as we tidy up our flower gardens. Bring your gloves, a favorite weeding tool, and good company every Saturday starting August 22 until October TBD. We will evaluate and adjust the time to meet the majority's preferences when we meet. If you cannot make it this week, let us know what time would work better for you in the future.

Location: We will meet by the garage on the east side of CUMC and proceed this week to the northwest corner of the church by the sign.

We hope to see you there — many hands make light work, and the smiles are free.

For those of us downtown, there has been a surprising BANG every half-hour for quite some time. We never quite got used to it in the office, but kind of. miss it now that it's over. Thanks Aaron Gross for sending us this video of Mayo's controlled demolition explosions! It's really quite incredible to see how our city is built.
