Congrats Shealyn and Josue!!

Josue grew up in the church but lived in these habitual sins that got worse at he got into college. Shealyn’s life before was chaotic, angry, and lacked a relationship with the Lord. She found herself in California and realized she needed something more.

Shortly after dating each other, they got pregnant. That left them with a lot of unknowns and questions. But through that whole process, they sought out God and eventually both placed their faith in him.

Now, they are happily married and living their life for the Lord

What a miracle when a child of God comes back home!

Robert lived a life where he wasn’t happy. The things he was doing satisfied the flesh but didn’t satisfy his soul.

One day, he found a Bible his dad gave him and decided to read a few scriptures. What he read taught him he didn’t need to have his life together to come back to God. It was then that he fully surrender his life.

“I didn’t have to be perfect, I just had to return”

Parent and Child Dedication is a chance for parents to commit themselves to raising children who are passionate about Jesus. And as a congregation, we get to support these families in that and be there for them.

It takes a village. We’re thankful these parents chose us to be their village!

The cost had been paid

In the Old Testament during the final plague, the Angel of Death passed over the homes that had blood on the door frame and those home were spared from destruction.

When Jesus’ blood was poured out on the cross, similarly, we too were spared. We are covered by Jesus’ blood and because of Him, we are spared from death.

All glory to God!

Mitchell lived a life far from God. He would describe it as miserable. But he knew he couldn’t keep going down that path.

He knew he had a choice to make and he chose to go down the path that had God on it. He knows the Lord is his strength and asks God everyday for strength.

Mitchell gives all the glory to God everyday and knows He’s worthy of the praise 🙌
