Our dear church mother, Mother Geneva Hollomon has gone to be with the Lord at the age of 90. She was also my beloved auntie and the Matriach of our family. "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." (Revelation 14:13)

She loved the Lord, she loved others and she loved to bring people to church. Her legacy of faith and love reaches into eternity.

I pray that God gives peace, comfort and strength to all in the days ahead, as we gather to celebrate her life. May the memories we share outweigh the tears we shed. And may we all be comforted in knowing, "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." (I Thessalonians 4:18)

Deliverance Jesus’s way means I have to deny my flesh. Freedom based on the scriptures means that I don’t get everything that I want when I want it, but that I need to let patience possess my soul. Deliverance the Lord’s way looks different.”
