Dear Church Family,
NEWS, NEWS, NEWS!! I have news for you, and I am excited to tell it.
I pray that this finds all of you well and at peace, especially in this time of your lives. It has been a while since I have sent a newsletter or correspondence to all of you. Please know I continue to hold you all in my prayers.
There are so many of you we miss, and I understand that some are worried about COVID and find it hard to come. And I know how hard it is to get back into coming after being home because of the pandemic and mandatory closing of our church building. So I’m asking all to think about coming back and coming home to your church family, and to let you know you are missed here. And there has been things happening within our congregation.
Three babies were baptized in June, and we have a new member that joined our church this July. There are some new people coming and we are so thankful that they have found us and feel comfortable in coming to join us. We have expanded on our music, as our new member plays his portable electric keyboard. God is so good to us! I am truly blessed to be the pastor of this congregation!!
The NEWS; On August 13, 2022 we are having a fundraiser for current expense (this takes care of the bills for electricity, propane for the heater, telephone and internet, water and sewer, etc. oh almost forgot my salary too!)

MORE NEWS: There are some here that are planning a celebration in October to celebrate 20 years in our new church building!!! We are a 218 year old congregation within a new building of 20 years already!! The dates for this celebration are October 22-23, 2022. We moved into the church building on October 20, 2002, I remember it like it was yesterday! I will share story of mine at the celebration and anyone who wants to share their memories!!
Anyone interested in helping in the planning and the work that the celebration will bring is truly welcome to come and share your ideas. We do have a few things we would like to happen but there is so much more that could be if we could all come together and share our thoughts and wishes! So come, next meeting is August 9, August 23, 7pm and we will have one or two more meeting after these. All Tuesdays if this does not work, please let pastor know.
Another letter with information of decisions on the celebration and what will take place and times. Hope you an come and enjoy the festivities.
Thank you for who you are, a child of God, who contributes to our church and world with your generous gifts and grace.
In Christ’s service,

Marsha J. Madore, Pastor
