Human Development Share Sunday, June 14, 2026

Dimitri House, located at 102 North Union Street in the City, offers a food cupboard and drop-in lunch program that supplements weekly needs of 12,500 people in our community on an annual basis. Please join Dimitri House in stocking the cupboard shelves for local families in the Rochester Community, the weekend of June
13/14.
Items needed:
Paper Products: toilet, toweling, tissues, plates, napkins

Hygiene Products: soap, shampoo & conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant, razors and shaving cream, feminine products

Cleaning Supplies: laundry and dish soap, disinfectant

We still have some more work to go, but the foyer from the church into Deacon Hall is starting to look pretty good.

We’re repainting the hallways and foyer of Deacon Hall. And we are hanging up the pictures of the pastors of St. Lawrence Church and the bishops of Rochester since the parish was founded in 1959. And soon we will be hanging up the pictures of the popes since 1959. We’ve also hung up in the main foyer of Deacon Hall, a picture of the original St. Lawrence Church and a picture of the current St. Lawrence Church and Deacon Hall. New area carpet/walk off pads are also being installed for people’s safety. We’ve had some slight delays, so we are looking at completing this by the end of next week. You will still be able to see some of the pictures this coming weekend at the May Crowning Mass with Bishop Bonnici at the 10 am Mass.
