Hey students,
An opportunity just came our way for a seasonal job--if your interest and availability fits the bill! There’s a local fruit farm in Spencerport looking to hire help from August to Thanksgiving. The time commitment is about 8-15 hours a week, divided into two or three shifts. However, the shifts that they are looking to hire for are during the school week, so any prospective employee would probably have to be a homeschooler with a flexible schedule. The responsibilities of the job include cashiering, stocking, taking phone calls, and performing basic janitorial work (employees are hired to manage a small store on the farm where we sell our produce). The minimum hiring age is 14.

Prayers for one of our Summit Students!

From his mom-
"Two weeks ago Ryan had a huge spinal surgery and it had it bumps along the way but Saturday we were finally able to come home. Today we had our 2week post op appt and sadly it looks like he has an infection. He will now have to have another surgery to go in an clean out this area! Please pray for my boy! We will be scheduled for the clean out surgery very soon (surgeon was in surgery or we would already have a date) We really need the infection not to spread and damage the spinal fusion that was just done."

FROM PASTOR JON: We can see all around us the moral decay of our culture to an extent most of us never would have expected and yet....here we are. I've been doing some personal study over the past several months and made some jaw-dropping discoveries. The video here does the best job of summing it all up. It's well worth your time and will open your eyes in a greater way to the spiritual battle we're engaged in. What we are witnessing in our culture isn't new...And not only is it older than you think, it's nearly identical to what it was in the ancient world---rainbows, parades, mascara and all. Do yourself and your family a favor and watch this:
